Quandary Escape Rooms in Wallingford, Complexity Escape Rooms in Farmington and Codeword Escape are currently looking for part time gamemasters for evenings and weekends. Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays.  $15.00/hour plus bonus and tips.

This is a front end position that requires an outgoing personality. You will be assigned to host various games at set times on evenings and weekends. You will meet your group, explain the rules and then get them excited about their mission. You will then monitor their game play from a separate control room where you will interact with them through a computer monitor You will assist them in completing their mission by answering questions and providing clues in real time as they ask. You will also monitor the game to make sure the players are not breaking anything or using undue force.

At the end of the game you will meet your group to congratulate them on their accomplishments and take a group photo.

When your group leaves you will be required to accurately and efficiently reset and clean the game for the next group to play. You are responsible for checking that all props are in working order. You will be responsible to do general maintenance on props after the game which may mean using a staple gun, glue gun, or screwdriver.

You will be dealing with all types of personalities so you must be patient, upbeat and personable.

Saturdays & Sundays ae a must. Please do not apply if you are not available to work at least 3 out of 4 weekends per month.

Teaching, theater or gaming experience is a plus. Saturdays may require 12 hour shifts. High school applicants are welcome provided they can get reliable transportation.
